How to create my artilinki profile?
It’s fast, simple and free :
- “create your profile” button can be found on all pages of the website.
- click on the link and follow instructions. Registration will take few minutes.
There is a "Facebook connect" if you want to join us in few secondes.
Standard registration procedure
1. click on “create my profile” (this button is visible on all website pages while not connected)
2. fill in the short registration form
3. confirm the registration form
4. a confirmation email is sent to the email address you filled in during registration. (don’t forget to check your Spam folder !)
5. click on the confirmation link
6. a congratulations page will appear to confirm your official registration.
7. your username and password are immediatly enabled for instant access to your artilinki profile.
Using Facebook Connect
Registration using Facebook Connect is easier, faster and allows you using your Facebook logins to access to artilinki website. You must have an existing Facebook account to use this functionality.
1. click on “Facebook connect” (this button is visible on all website pages while not connected) and start your Facebook account connexion through artilinki website
2. this connexion enables automatic fill-in of the registration form. You can then complete your registration
3.proceed with registration form final validation
4. a confirmation email is sent to the email address you filled in during registration. (don’t forget to check your Spam folder !)
5. click on the confirmation link
6. a congratulations page will appear to confirm your official registration.
7. your username and password are immediatly enabled for instant access to your artilinki profile.
Which type of profile should I choose?
To improve your visibility within the community, you have to choose the most suitable type of profile. You will find some examples given to help you at this stage. You can create several profiles providing a unique email address is used for each registration.
- TALENT profile (Artist/Technician/Collective)
Dedicated to: painter, musician, film-maker, sculptor, dancer, craft-worker, comedian, photographer, designer, architect, writer, art agent, stage director, art critic, stage technician, model, web-developer…etc.
- ORGANIZATION profile (Company/Institution/Organization)
Dedicated to: exhibition place, publication, distribution, sales, support, media, supplies, organizations...etc.
- FAN profile (Fan/Curator)
Dedicated to all artistic creation fans and curators!
Why my email address and birthdate are required?
Your email address allows you to improve security and to contact you if necessary.We allow artists to upload content suitable for people under 16 years, that's why Artilinki must know your age. Your date of birth is not visible to other users.
What should I do if I don’t receive any registration confirmation by email?
Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
1. Check your email application's spam or junk folder or filter. Please be aware that some emails may be blocked by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
2. Check that you’re trying to log in from the exact email address you registered with. A common error is registering with an incorrect email domain (e.g., @comcast.com is not the same as @comcast.net). In addition, keep in mind that email addresses never begin with a "www" prefix.

My email address seems to be already used for a previous registration
If you are not the account owner and are attempting to sign up for an account, then please be aware that you can only sign up for one Artilinki account per email address. Email addresses are offered for free by many websites (e.g., Yahoo!, Gmail). If you believe you are receiving this message in error then please click here.
I forgot my password, how can I get it back?

Please click here to request a new password for your account.

My profile is created, what should I do next?
First steps on Artilinki

It is recommended to fill your artilinki profile with conviction in order to:
- have a good referencing on artilinki.com,
- have a good referencing on Internet,
- allow artilinki members to better understand your activity.
You will find below some tips and procedures to optimize customization and global use of your art that could help you customizing your artilinki profile.
You can follow this steps in top right corner of your profile page or in the main menu “MY ARTILINKI”.
Step 1 : click “Edit my profile” and fill the form
Step 2 : click “Change profile photo”
To add or change a profile photo, go to “Change profile photo” and then click on the button under “Download an image”. You can choose a picture of you, of your team, your logo, or anything that would represent you or your work.
Step 3 : click “Manage acces”
- picto - 16 : Check this box if the content of your profile may not be suitable for those under the age of 16.
- picto lock : Check this box to limit access to your profile. You must give this code to anyone who would like to access your profile. They will not have to register with artilinki to access your profile. This function is useful if you’d like your profile to be completely private.
- picto ghost : Check this box to make your profile invisible. The artilinki community will not see your profile: this is handy, for example, if you’d like to make major changes to your profile without being seen!
Step 4 : click “Edit INFO section”
The INFOS section helps you to introduce yourself in a more detailed and professional manner.
Click on “INFO” > “Edit presentation” and use our simplified text editor.
You can use couple of simple tools to build a nice presentation.
You can present :
- your activity,
- your biography,
- technologies and tools you use,
- your professional backgroung,
- etc...
We suggest to write down a presentation in different languages if you expect a international visibility.
Tip : add images and videos from the web to enrich your presentation
- Clik on “change my Presentation”,
- Copy/paste the url of the image or video,
- Click on CONFIRM,
- The file will be integrated in your presentation,
- You can adjust it’s position in the page by using our easy to use tools.
Step 5 : Add your creatives fields
When you create a new creative field within your artilinki profile, you get a complete useful new section to present related activities.
How to add a new creative field :
1. Click "Add a creative field”
2. Make your choice in the list. Fields already created won’t appear in the list and if you need some help choose the right discipline, click here
How to change the name of my profile?
In the main menu : “MY ARTILINKI” > “Edit profile”
I’m a team, I’m not a team?
Artilinki allows you to specify if you represent an individual person or a team (usefull for emphasize its members).Within your profile : “Edit profile” > “I’m a team” / “I’m not a team”.
How to delete my account?
On top right corner : “account” > “delete my profile”
How to manage notifications?

You can change your notification settings in your preferences page : click “account” > “PREFERENCES” on top right corner.
Deselect the notifications you no longer wish to receive and make sure to click 'SAVE CHANGES' when you are finished.
If you want also receive alerts by email, check “to also receive my alerts by email”.
Remember to add "no_reply@artilinki.com" to your contacts in your email program to make sure our emails are not marked as spam
How to change my email address?
Click “account” (top right corner).
How to add an Album, Event or Project ?
There are 2 ways :
- within the MAIN MENU : “MY ARTILINKI” > “add an Album” / “add a Event” / “add a Project”
- within your profile :
1. Click on one of your artistic disciplines (clik here if you didn’t add any yet)
2. Click on "ALBUM", “EVENT” or “PROJECT” depending what you plan to add
3. Click on "Add an Album", “Add a Event” or “Add Project”
4. Fill the form and upload the first media file
5. Confirm the form
6. Now, you can add all the media you want into your Album / Event / Project!
How to add media file into my Album / Event / Project?
1. Within the selcted folder, click “ADD A MEDIA FILE”
2. Choose DOWNLOAD FILE on your computer or SELECT A FILE in your media library

If you choose to DOWNLOAD FILE on your computer :
3. click on “Browse”
4. select a file on your computer
5. click on “CONFIRM”
6. Media upload will start. You can use “Name of your media file” to rename the uploaded file

If you choose to SELECT A FILE in your media library :
3. click on “ACCESS TO MY LIBRARY”
4. choose a media, click on “+” or just drag and drop it to your Album / Event / Project (left side)
How to organize folders and media?

1. click “organise”
2. change the order using drag&drop or quick sort functions
3. click “save modifications”
How to manage my network?
You can see your entire Network in the INFO section, sort in 3 categories:
- my members (this category allows you to detail profile of your members, if you are a team).
- my teams (if you are part of teams).
- my contacts (to detail all other contacts).
The “Network carousel“ allows people visiting your profile to quickly visualize your network and better understand its structure.
To add a contact :
1. Go to the profile contact you want to add
2. Click on "add to my network" / “join this team / “add to my members”
Favorites / Alerts
Alerts will keep you from missing out on any of the items contained in your “my favorites” folder.
- The MEMBER alert will let you know when a profile has been changed by its owner (information, albums, events, etc.).
- The FOLDER alert will let you know when a album or event has been changed and will remind you of the event a few days before it begins.
- The MEDIA alert will let you know when a file has been changed.
What can I do with my media library?

In the left column, you can find the list of all your Albums / Events / Projects. On the right side, there are all your media files.
How to attach a media file to an Album / Event / Project?
1. Click on concerned folder. The left column is replaced by the photo of this folder.
2. Switch button "folder media/all media" to "all media"
- Put your mouse cursor on the selected media file, and click on "+" icon. The media file is now attached to the folder.
OR
- Drag and drop the media file on the folder photo. The media file is now attached to the folder.
How to remove a media file from a folder?
1. Click on concerned folder. The left column is replaced by the photo of this activity.
2. Switch button "folder media/all media" to "folder media"
3. Put your mouse cursor on the selected media file, and click on "-" icon. The media file is now removed from the folder.
How to see media attached to a folder
1. Click on concerned folder. The left column is replaced by the photo of this folder.
2. Switch button "folder media/all media" to "folder media". Media files are now listed in the right part.
How to know the folder related to a media file
Put your mouse cursor on the selected media file, and click on "i" icon. A green tooltip appears listing all folder related to this media file.
You can remove this media file from one or several folder by clicking on "x" icon in the green tooltip.

Artilinki is optimized for the following browsers :
- Mozilla firefox (min. version 2)

- Internet Explorer (min. version 7)
How to report inappropriate content?
To report inappropriate content, you can use the « report misuse » function permanently positioned near each medium
Procedure :
1. Click on “report misuse”
2. Select the “type of misuse” and write your message. We automatically save the content you are reporting.
3. Click on “CONFIRM”
Type of misuse :
- This content is not art-related
- This content is contrary to accepted principles of morality
- This content is sensitive and not suitable for those under the age of 16
- This page makes fraudulent use of artilinki
- Other type of misuse
