LC : Can you present and summarize your career for those who don't know you yet?

 

CT : Everything starts with the living environment, growing up in the countryside, I have always had a special connection with the family kitchen. I spent a lot of time in this space immersed deeply and simply, in the midst of aromas, flavours and local produce.


It's at 12 years old that this passion revealed itself, when I realized that cooking would become an integral part of my life.

 

We were celebrating my brother's first communion and I managed the lunch for the occasion, naturally taking the lead of this function. I imagined and cooked the meal but I also put together the table and all the details essential to the quality of sharing a moment. I was classically trained and in 1979, I was decorated Best Apprentice Chef of France. I had the honor to join the Maison Paul Bocuse and I then did my military service at the Palais de l'Elysée.


This passion and the people I met allowed me to cultivate my engagement for the growth of French cooking, both in its representation here in France and at the international level.
